What keeps you working in Mental Health?
The community of Mental Health is a continuous, fast-growing entity that is composed of a variety of therapists. Many need a safe space to allow themselves the time and vulnerability to allow healing to start. This community needs compassionate, insightful and knowledgeable practitioners that provide a safe space for clients to heal, knowing that healing takes time and cannot be forced or rushed. I truly enjoy holding space for my clients as well as reminding them that this journey is a marathon not a sprint.
I am passionate about emphasizing to my clients the art of breathing and how to reconnect to their breath. I am also passionate about reminding clients that they are the medicine they seek. It brings me joy when my clients can confidently say that they truly feel better and their hope is restored.
Sacred Space
In my practice, I provide a safe space that allows clients to explore healing that they have struggled to obtain. By providing a sacred space, clients have been empowered to reconnect with their breath, practice guided meditations and others have explored alternative treatment with Cannabis. While each client differs, so does the healing modality that supports their individual healing journey. This journey is individualized based on a variety of things. Including preparation, set, setting and the integration that follows.
Most importantly, my clients feel safe, protected and cared for. I have seen amazing healing occur from a variety of platforms that expand Western, Eastern and Entheogenic practices. This brings me joy to facilitate this healing for clients.
Outside interest
I enjoy traveling to other countries to learn about different cultures, belief systems and healing modalities. I have completed several certifications in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and will continue to explore these healing modalities to better serve my clients.
